Common Questions and Answers Regarding Centralized Charging
Common questions regarding charging cabinets and charging equipment.
How does the cabinet ensure safety during simultaneous charging?
Each Qipeng charging cabinet is equipped with an industrial-grade protection system, including overload, short-circuit, and leakage protection. To manage heat from centralized charging, we have designed physical cooling vents—with select models featuring silent fans—to ensure devices charge within an optimal temperature range.
Is the cabinet durable and fireproof?
Yes. Our cabinets are uniformly constructed from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with an anti-static powder-coated finish. This all-metal structure is not only rugged and anti-theft but also possesses natural flame-retardant properties.
Will one faulty port affect the entire cabinet?
No. Each port operates independently to ensure no mutual interference. Utilizing a 5-port modular structure, any port failure can be resolved by simply replacing the corresponding circuit module. This eliminates the need for full-unit shutdowns or factory repairs, significantly reducing maintenance time.
Can high-power charging cabinets be used in areas with unstable voltage?
Yes. Qipeng cabinets support 110V-240V wide voltage with built-in surge protection to shield devices from grid fluctuations. Select models feature an intelligent startup mode that initiates charging layer-by-layer via sequential control, effectively preventing circuit trips caused by current overload and ensuring stable power operation.
Are the plug specifications swappable for different countries?
Yes. We provide industrial-grade power cables compliant with global standards (US, EU, UK, AU, etc.). These cables are swappable to ensure seamless deployment across different regions.
Can we upgrade the charging ports in the future without replacing the entire unit?
Select Qipeng models support modular component replacement. This allows for hardware upgrades—such as swapping internal charging trays or power boards—as technology evolves, significantly lowering your long-term total cost of ownership (TCO).
Will leaving devices plugged in for long periods damage the batteries?
No. Each Qipeng cabinet features a built-in Smart IC. Once fully charged, the system automatically switches to trickle charging or cuts power entirely. This prevents overcharging, effectively protecting batteries from swelling and extending their overall lifespan.
Will the charging speed slow down if all slots are occupied?
Each output features independent power distribution. With ample overhead in the total power design, every port maintains its rated full-load current even when dozens of devices are connected simultaneously, achieving true synchronous fast charging.
Does it feature anti-static design? Will it damage touchscreens?
Qipeng cabinets provide complete grounding protection via the power cable to effectively dissipate static. This prevents sparks during device handling or physical contact, shielding sensitive integrated circuits and touchscreens from electrostatic damage.
